DEATH OF MRS. FREDERICK M. HOLLIDAY
(EVA MARY WILLIS)

The death occurred this morning at the family residence, 119 Queen Street, Brooklin, of Mrs. Eva Mary Holliday. She was in her 82nd year.

A daughter of the late James and Anastasia Willis, the deceased was born in Whitby and was married Mar. 10, 1909 in St. John's Anglican Church, Port Whitby. She had been a resident of Brooklin for 50 years.

Mrs. Holliday was a member of Brooklin United Church and of the United Church Women. She was also a charter member of the Brooklin Women's Institute.

Predeceased in 1952 by her husband, Frederick M. Holliday, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. T. R. Nicholson (Edith) of Toronto, Mrs. J. Hamer (Laurel) of Myrtle and Mrs. L. Barrett (Marion) of Whitby; four sons, Walter and Kenneth of Oshawa, Wilber of Holt, Ont. and Allan of Kenora, Ont.

Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. D. E. Heard (Emily) of Whitby and Mrs. O. C. Husband (Marguerite) and Mrs. E. Slatte (Anna) both of Toronto; two brothers, William of Woodstock and Edward of Montreal; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at the W. C. Town Funeral Chapel, Whitby at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 27. Interment will be in Groveside Cemetery. Rev. G. A. Mundy, pastor of Brooklin United Church, will conduct the service.
