REV. JOHN J. REDDITT

Rev. J. J. Redditt, the new President (of the Toronto Conference of the Methodist Church) is one of the best known members of the conference. He was born in Toronto in 1853, entering the ministry in 1877. His ordination followed as deacon in 1879, as elder in 1881. Rev. Mr. Redditt has been stationed at Lindsay, Oshawa, Scarboro, Brampton, Uxbridge, and his next station is expected to be Collingwood. For four years the new president was Secretary and later Secretary in Chief of Toronto Conference. He was also honored with the Chairmanship of the district. Rev. Mr. Redditt is probably best known in connection with Sunday School and young peoples' work.


Rev. Redditt was minister of Brooklin Wesleyan Methodist Church, 1884-1887.
